Jana and Siyo

For the next few weeks I’ll be posting portfolio test shoots that I’ve done and these photos fall in that range. I was asked to specifically shoot children and teenagers, but after these are posted I’ll be showing off with my next fashion portfolio. Enjoy!

This little drama – queen, actress was amazing to work with. Her natural movements, quirky personality and ease in front of the camera made her the perfect little model! She pitched up with some of her own props and we decided to use the roller-skates in one of the looks, which she pulled off beautifully. Because of her easy going personality, I decided to challenge her a little bit. I asked her to use facial expression as she would like to be an actress and placed the photos next to each other. I’ll use Jana any day.

First timer, Siyo, came into my studio all shy and cute, quietly put on her first outfit, and neatly sat down to wait her turn. A person would almost not notice her. That is of course, until she steps in front of the camera. Suddenly this little flower blossomed! A real stage beauty came alive in front of the camera. Siyo was a good surprise and with every look her confidence increased. What a find!
